The visual image that a Tandoori chicken brings us is always that of a bright orange red coloured slightly charred one. But i couldnt convince myself to add any food colour to the chicken as my son was waiting patiently by my side watching me cook with his small colourful plate in his hand. Chicken is his favourite food. Normally i dont give him any of the colour added food but i know that this wouldnt work when the item in question is Tandoori chicken. So I omitted the colour part. Im sure that i did justice to the dish and im pleased with it. Try it out.
