I was planning for a long time to make stuffed Tandoori potato. Today I finally decided to give it a try but was not sure about what the filling should be. Usually it is a vegetarian dish with a stuffing of mashed potatoes. But I decided to give it a twist by adding chicken as its filling. I had some leftover tandoori chicken and i used it.The result was a great success. The tandoori chicken and the tandoori potato together makes a great pair. I would definitely make it again some time soon. You can have any filling of your choice for this tasty Tandoori potato recipe. Please try it.
Ingredients
2 medium potatoes
For the filling .
3 Tbsp Cooked and shredded tandoori Chicken
1 spoon peppered mayonnaise
1 green chilli chopped finely
1 tbsp salted cucumber sliced thin.
Salt to taste

To marinate
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
3/4 tsp kasmiri chilli powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp tandoori masala
a pinch kasuri methi

Method
Prick the potatoes and microwave high for 5-6 minutes till cooked.
Cool and peel the potatoes. Cut into halves .Scoop the potatoes. Mix all the ingredients for the marinate and apply the paste to the potatoes . Let it marinate for 30 minutes. Grill the potatoes till they become golden brown. Now mix the Ingredients under 'filling' and stuff the tandoori potato with it. Serve hot.
